Strictly adhering to SMPTE video standards, HDMI120 allows users to have confidence that HDMI video and audio signals will be converted to a compliant SMPTE SDI signal by the HDMI120, at the highest quality possible and with true reliability.

HDMI to SDI converter
Synapse HDMI120 conversions from HDMI to 3G/HD/SD-SDI include video scaling and PsF mode, configured via DIP switches on the side of the converter. The 3G/HD/SD-SDI output signal is simultaneously displayed to 2 3G/HD/SD-SDI connections, allowing monitoring of recorded signals. A second HDMI input is provided for redundancy, providing a fail-safe mechanism should an input be lost. An on-screen display utility provides status information about the configuration settings of the converter, and an embedded pattern generator is available to calibrate 3rd-party monitors.
